MISSION STATEMENT
The Sun Valley/Ketchum Chamber & Visitors Bureau is the destination marketing organization for the Sun Valley region and actively leads the effort in tourism development and promotion of local businesses as a means of stimulating community economic vitality.

KEY FOCUS AREAS
DESTINATION MARKETING: The SVKCVB conducts an integrated marketing & sales effort designed to attract visitors and group business to the Sun Valley/Ketchum area. This mix incorporates advertising, promotions, social media, public relations and special events. We work collaboratively with Sun Valley Resort and other partners to increase the collective impact and return on investment of our efforts.
VISITOR SERVICES:The SVKCVB serves as "Information Central" for the Sun Valley region. We operate a 24/7 Virtual Visitor Information Center through www.visitsunvalley .com and also operate a year-round Visitor Information Center in downtown Ketchum that welcomes over 22,000 visitors annually to the Sun Valley/Ketchum area. The staff performs multiple services including distribution of resort and community information, compilation of Events Calendar for the Sun Valley Region, referrals to local business and services, and compilation of socio-economic, demographic, and statistical information.
SPECIAL EVENTS: The SVKCVB creates, supports and encourages special events that draw local, regional and destination visitors to the Sun Valley Region and increase the vitality of the community. We're proud that our community hosts many nationally recognized "signature" events throughout the year, a number of which were created/initiated by the SVKCVB, including Wells Fargo Boulder Mountain Tour, Sun Valley Wellness Festival, Trailing of the Sheep Festival, Ernest Hemingway Symposium, US Half Marathon Sun Valley and the Sun Valley Food & Wine Festival. The SVKCVB is also involved with creating and promoting smaller 'community vitality' events such as free weekly summer music concerts, annual Halloween street party, and other events that add fun energy, are enjoyed by local residents, many visitors and stimulate increased business.
BUSINESS PROMOTION & SUPPORT – The SVKCVB provides business partners with promotional support, quality networking opportunities, referrals, discounts on services, communication on key economic issues and other important benefits.
AIR & GROUND TRANSPORTATION ACCESS SUPPORT: The SVKCVB plays a key role with the non-profit Fly Sun Valley Alliance organization and is actively involved in efforts to improve air service to Friedman Memorial Airport (SUN) and ground transportation service to/from Boise airport.
